The Creation of Harris Medical, LLC: Filling the need for WC19-compliant wheelchairs

Harris Medical, LLC was created around a single product that will revolutionize
the way wheelchair-dependent individuals are transported in the future.

The developers of the RH3500 EZ Transport Chair, Bud and Shari Harris, have
58 years of combined healthcare experience. Together, identifing a void in
the transportation system of non-ambulatory people. They provided a solution
for those who were not eligible for ambulance transport without huge expense.

Bud’s career path started in hospital supplies and equipment sales. He then
started a private healthcare purchasing company which he took public. Another
private business was then developed that provided furnishing and refurbishing
to healthcare communities in a tri-state area.

Subsequently, another private company was started, Specialty Medical Products,
a durable Medical company, which has since been sold. Concurrent at the time,
Bud was president at Specialty Medical. He also opened Magen Medical; a
company that developed and manufactured specialty chairs and cushions to
hospitals and nursing homes.

Bud and Shari recently started Harris Medical, which has developed a new system
for a niche market to fill an important void in transportation for those who fall
between the established existing transportation systems.
Bud Harris is a graduate of Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois with a degree
in Business Administration.
Shari’s healthcare experience started in long term care as a social worker,
where a portion of her job included providing discharge planning and setting
up transportation.
She also served as a nursing home administrator for 14 years in Pennsylvania,
overseeing all of the operations of facilities ranging from 100 beds up to 340 beds.
Shari has traveled extensively for a large company, troubleshooting problems
in nursing home facilities while serving as interim administrator.
Her most recent employment with Specialty Medical as sales manager has her
overseeing the sales of 5 million annually to hospitals, nursing facilities and
the home care market. She is a certified geriatrician and also has a degree in
social work. She has a nursing home administrator’s license from The
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Insurance costs have continually increased for transport services creating a large
financial expense for facilities and individuals. Paying for ambulance or wheel
chair accessible vans is no longer a problem with the RH3500 EZ Transport Chair.

Bud and Shari are very excited about this new product and are anxious to show you
how the facility or individual can save tens of thousands of dollars each year with
the RH3500 EZ Transport Chair!
